Catching up in 2016!

We figured we would take full advantage of the Tulip festival while she is still under the age of 2. Next year she will cost $17 dollars. Seriously? Soak it in Luella...you may never see such expensive Tulips in your life ever again ;-)

I'm so glad I am still so close with my Cougarette friends and now our kids are friends. We had a picnic at the park and the kids loved trying to pick the flowers...woops

Aunt Bella came to play with us the other day!

Don't let this face fool you. She hates the swing. This smiled lasted one second and then her face turned bright red and she screamed bloody murder.

It was time to get a hair cut. Her very first one! She was so good and drove that car like a mad woman.

Hanging out at Mimi and Papas house Sunday evening.

My parent's just bought a golf cart for St. George that Luella is obsessed with.

This kid is spoiled my her grandparents. She would ride in that wagon all day.

This is so random and may sound ridiculous but Luella and I went to Grease Monkey to get our oil changed and had the BEST experience. I guess its the little things ha. When we arrived they gave Luella a carnation flower and a stuffed monkey to keep. She spilled popcorn everywhere and they were right there to clean it up; they even gave her a quarter for the gum ball machine. Needless to say we both left happy. I gave Luella her flower to hold for the car ride home and when I went to get her out I noticed she was chewing the stem and the petals were all over the car. I obviously didn't think that one through. #FAIL

We had our first picnic outside because the weather was too nice not too.

She loves playing with her cousin Jack and Liam. So glad they live by us now!

We put together a surprise 30th birthday for Jamyn! It was a success.

Another day out in the yard. She couldn't quite grasp the fact that it was a popsicle and she needed to hold the stick at the bottom.

Her mouth is chuck full of food...just like her mom. Her and Rufus love each other. She takes his ball and runs away so that he'll chase her.

I came home from the gym and found these 3 like this. There is nothing better than this...

Yes I am almost 28 years old, pregnant with my second and have a child at home, but why would that stop me from seeing Justin Bieber? Best night ever! You're are never too old to be a BELIEBER. Im so pathetic.

Luella's first time rocking the pig tails!

These pics below sum up my child...

Loves putting on socks

Loves putting on her hat, necklaces, jacket and purse.

Also loves pulling out her hair..

Just getting comfy

HAPPY EASTER!

Even though she doesn't know what the Easter Bunny is we decided to still do something small at home. Every time she picked up an egg she would stop and eat everything inside before moving to the next one!

Being a good sharer...

This picture below is priceless...loves that crown

Family Tradition. Easter egg hunt with all of the cousins!

I think Josh may have teared up a bit seeing her so excited. She has turned him into a total softy. Josh never cries and isn't a very emotional person but Luella melts his heart.

We are still working on not eating the chalk. Baby steps...

She really does love to help me. She cleans everything, picks up trash and hands it to me, puts her dirty diapers in the garbage and her dirty clothes in the hamper. She kills me!

Doing some heavy duty weeding so we can put in new sod and plant flowers.

Reading up on who knows what while we wait to see baby.

I went on a little weekender with Josh's sisters to the cabin. Josh's job was to hold down the fort while I was gone. These two had a blast. The hair never gets done but hey she's alive and happy.

Loves holding dads hand in the car

Cleaning away

Her and Liam (cousins)

She loves going on bike rides with Papa

Fun fact: If you feed her popcorn she will actually watch a movie for at least 20 minutes

We took her to the "Frozen" Disney on ice. I didn't know if she would even make it half way through but it was worth a shot. She loves the movie frozen. She lasted the entire show but of course we had to keep stuffing her face full of food to get her to sit still.

Blurry pic but I'm not going to lie; I teared up seeing how happy she was. It's moments like this one that make everything you do so worth it.

Some of my close friends and I went and stayed the night at Kaley's in-laws cabin. We went out to eat at a nice restaurant downtown and then up to the cabin for facials, diet cokes and good chats. What more could you want!

I am so lucky my family loves Luella so much. They are always asking to watch her. I am taking advantage now before they get kids of their own. Josh and I went out to dinner and a movie and these guys held down the fort.

Liv and Will decided they didn't want to miss out either so everyone ended up coming over ha.

Had a fun day in Provo with my mom and Jensen.

I had been waiting for this day for a very LONG time. NURSERY! Josh and I can finally sit in peace and not roam the halls, chasing her for 2 hours.

She loves it and why wouldn't you. I want goldfish too.

Cougarettes did an Alumni piece for the concert this year. They invited all Alumni who wanted to participate to come learn choreography and perform. At first I thought, no way i'm too old and can't lift my leg above 90 degrees. I realized later that Olivia and I had never been able to dance on stage together because when I graduated she then came onto the team. We decided to suck it up and pretend like we still knew what we were doing.

I was so happy Josh was able to see me dance for the first time ever. We met after I was a Cougarette so he never got to see what it was all about. He was so excited and I'm glad I ended up dancing on stage one last time.

These two trying to be cool in their matching jackets they got for Christmas.

Sorry Rufus she ain't letting you out...

Luella and London are only a month or so apart. We love going down to Provo to see them. We mostly always end up going to Qualtrics to sit in the massage chairs and eat until we are sick.

Decided to spend the weekend down in St. George together!

Went on a double date with Craig and Karrie to the BYU game.

Glad I was able to run into my old buddies I used to work with at BYU. I miss that job!

Could Rufus be any bigger? I still resent Josh for making me feel bad that I wouldn't let him have a dog and then when I give in, he not only buys a dog, but a freaking HORSE! He is almost 100 pounds now. I should have been more clear as to what the terms were. lol I knew this was the breed he wanted but I thought when we asked for the smallest in the liter that he would never grow as big as he did. His tail alone will knock Lu over.  I have grown to love him though and seeing how much Luella likes him makes it all worth it.

Playing dress up at the Curiosity museum!

Papa (aka Big How) seems to like to play dress up with Lu as well. Gansta!

I found her like this after her nap one day...hmm

We had Jensen sleep over with us in February and Luella loved it!

Pushes this everywhere. Her favorite is to turn it upside and push it that way; whatever floats her boat.

Sometimes we just go to Barnes and Noble to play and pretend to read books. Luella never used to like me to read to her. She wanted to hold it herself but I was so worried she wouldn't learn words that I would grab a different book and just read it out loud while she played in her room. Looking back I was pretty much reading to myself. I've read more books now than I ever did in school. Now her favorite books are object books. I ask her where something is and she points to it. We probably go over the same book 3 times a day; she's obsessed.

This is Knox. He is handsome.

This picture below sums up the relationship I have with my grandma. Anyone that knows Joyce wants her to be their grandma. I was at the mall and ran into her at H&M and wanted to take a picture to send to all the cousins and she lays one on me. She is seriously a hoot and hilarious.

We love daddy!
