Halloween this year was seriously the best! Simply put everything is better with kids; well not vacations as much but you know what I mean...
This year Luella went back and forth between wanting to be a duck or Elsa. The duck costume was too good not to wear so I made a game time decision for her. Her face below shows she was feeling confident about it too lol
My dad always used to take us trick-or-treating when we were younger in a red wagon just like this. I always envisioned doing the same with our kids. My whole family pretty much came out to take Lu trick or treating with us. She has quite the support system. We all ate our traditional clam chowder and my mom and grandma stayed back with Emma while the rest of us ventured out. Luella had been practicing all month how to say, "trick or treat and then thank you". She nailed it!
Liv and Will came dressed as......yep HOWARD AND KAREBEAR. I was dying!
This was so on point.
A couple weeks earlier we got together with our cute cousins to make Halloween sugar cookies
Luella got to dress up at our Mommy and me dance class. She chose to be Elsa and luckily her friend came as Anna.
This is her and her best buddy Indie.
Why not go to our friends annual Halloween party a week or so after having a baby. ha
Emma was a trooper.
